JICA Kyrgyzstan Paid A Courtesy Visit to KPEPE University
On July 1, 2025, Mr. Ara Hitoshi, the Chief Representative of JICA Kyrgyzstan, visited KPEPE University (KPEPE) to strengthen collaboration between the two organizations. The visit aimed to foster better understanding and explore potential partnerships in urban development and education.
Professor Evaristo Liwa, the Vice Chancellor of KEPEP, extended a warm welcome to the delegation and emphasized the university's commitment to supporting the construction sector's development. KPEPE showcased its esteemed undergraduate and postgraduate programs from the School of Spatial Planning and Social Sciences (SSPSS), leading to productive discussions on urban development challenges.

- Concessionary loans for development projects
- Technical training and capacity building
The visit concluded with mutual commitments to explore concrete collaboration opportunities that leverage KEPEPE's academic expertise and JICA's development experience to address Kyrgyzstan's urban planning challenges.
