New Master's Program Launched

The Institute of Technology is pleased to announce the establishment of an innovative Master's program in Renewable Energy Systems, commencing in September 2022.
This interdisciplinary program combines advanced engineering coursework with policy studies and business management, offering three specialization tracks:
- Solar Energy and Photovoltaic Systems
- Wind Energy Conversion Technologies
- Hybrid Power System Integration
Developed in collaboration with 15 industry partners including KyrgyzHydroPower and SolarTech Central Asia, the curriculum features:
- 8 core modules covering smart grid technologies and energy storage systems
- Practical training at renewable energy facilities
- Capstone projects with real-world industry challenges
- Internship opportunities with international organizations
"This program responds to Central Asia's growing demand for sustainable energy experts," said Program Director Dr. Asel Satylganova. "Our graduates will be equipped to lead the region's transition to clean energy solutions."
The two-year program offers bilingual instruction (English/Russian) and includes partnerships with technical universities in Germany and China for student exchange programs. Applications are now open until June 30, 2022, with scholarships covering 40% of tuition available for qualified candidates.
